What materials do you use, and how do custom orders for checkerboard tables work?
In the current economy, many are concerned with cost. But when we discuss the quality craftsmanship that goes into a hand-made piece of furniture, most are no longer challenged by the cost of materials and what it takes to create any woodworking item.
How should I care for my wooden items once I get them?
Yes, first is to allow the finish time to "cure" from the inside-out. Just because it feels dry to the touch, does not mean the very first layer underneath actually is.
Second, keep the dust off of it, and use this special piece not only to brighten the room, but as a conversation piece to all who come into your home or office space.
What are your policies on payment, shipping, and returns?
In my experience, woodworking is not an exact science. Much of it depends on the grade of materials readily available and of course, the craftsmanship.
The bottom line is this: I stand behind my work. Even if the damage is completely the customer's fault, let's talk about what I can do to help.
